Everytime I try to desaturate, it tells me the selected area is empty.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was in the wrong layer.

At least for printing. Take for instance, last week, I resized two images down to 200x200 pixels at 72 dpi, and when I go to print them, one comes bigger than the other. What gives?

You can press shift while scaling it down from the corners. It will scale down to a limit though.

In the PS Help file, do a search for "rasterize type"

um..
or search for "Render Type", I think that is what they called it back then.

Can't remember for 5. Later versions go Layer>Rasterize>Type. May be the same for you?

Nope, no rasterize in Photoshop 5.0

I am using Photoshop 5.0 for Windows, and right now I want to change fonts into images so I can make some effects to them, but I can't quite remember how.
