Perhaps a slightly different format. Rather than sigs, we'd do a piece of art at a given size with the given theme (or without a theme, if people like that better).

yeah that sounds good!
also i think a theme is a good idea, because i forces you to use your inspiration around that theme and that's more difficult than just doing something when your bored and then place it in a theme!
in other words it's a good exercise!

At the moment, I don't really have any ideas. Maybe when I have a Wacom tablet (in the next two weeks, I hope) I'll have some ideas.

I think a theme is important so that the judges havesomething to work from. Otherwise, winners could end up being just those whose subject is preferred. Themes also make it more challenging. But bigger artwork is an okay idea.

I think we should have a "sig of the week theme poll" thread where we have say 10 themes and vote for one to use.

i know this is basically dead, but I'm gonna throw in this piece of junk anyway.
