Outstanding! I'd be fascinated to learn more about your methods for brushing nebulae, etc.
I agree that the shadow seems a bit intense, and the "terminator" (line between night and day) seems a bit hard-edged. From a realistic standpoint, I'd say the fragments of rock orbiting the planet are too large; normal planetary rings are composed of many chunks that are rarely larger than a small neighborhood.
Despite my nitpicks, this is looking awesome. Keep up the excellent work! It's a very nice realistic yet abstract style you've got going. Sort of like Greg Martin. _________________ Interested in showcasing your special effects or learning some new ones from the masters? Check out PSFX! |

thnx alot for the comments, just wanted to clear some stuff up, I know i made the big mistake on the planet, it took me forever to try and get a good shadow on it, then i jut got lazy and whipped one on, and the the chunks of rock surrounding the planets are asteriods like an asteroid belt, but they arent the planets rings. _________________ Space Artist
