Ok, I can load up photoshop cs2, but whenever I try creating a file, or opening a file, once I hit "ok" nothing happens, the window for creating/opening goes off, but it leaves me with the blank gray space. I found out that i can open the files in ImageReady, then switch to photoshop CS2, and I have the file, but I need to have it fit the printing size, so I select print with preview, and this error message pops up:

Could not complete Print with Preview command due to a application error.

How do i fix this? I really need to finish a project, and im created a collage, but i cannot print it correctly without print with preview.

EDit: Also, i can't use some filters, such as liquify, and things such as blur, sharpen, burn ect, cancel out, like im dragging the blur tool, when suddenly it just stops blurring, as if i pressed escape.

What's your system set-up? (RAM, OS, etc...)
What have you tried to fix? (reinstall, trash prefs, etc..)

And your last sentence is not clear... the brush tools don't work? or the filters don't work? or the filters are grayed-out?

Are you working in RGB/8bit?

Example: If i select difference clouds, nothing happens, they are not grayed out, and if i choose something that opens up a new window, such as Liquify, no window pops up.

I have a 3.2ghz processor. computer, 2 gigs of Ram, nvidia 7800 dual video cards, anything else i need to say?

I guess I can try reinstalling, but it might be my computer, becasue this started happening just a couple days ago, and I installed this about a month ago.

You could try trashing prefs (hold down Shift+alt+cntrl as you launch PS), but it sounds like something else is going on.
(Note: Reinstalling does not reset your preferences.)

Ok, First I tried repairing it, no luck. So I reinstalled it, and removed the preferences, it still does not work! So I guess ill just have to get a demo of elements to complete my project.

Edit: Elements does not work either! I ended up having to do my project on my old computer-7 hours.

This is probably a silly question but was your photoshop CS2 the demo version? if not contact Adobe as there must be something wrong somewhere. Also check out Adobes site, there are some conflicts with certain graphic/video cards, I think theres a list there somewhere. Wayne
