Thanks! That worked quite well. I still had to zoom in to get it right even with snap turned on though, wish it would snap only to those 1024 squares and nothing else. But it's no huge problem.

I tried that and couldnt set it to 1024, it would only allow 1000 pixels, seems like it has to be even numbers.

I have a 10240 x 1024 image that i need to cut into 10 1024x1024 images, how do i accomplish this the easiest way?

I tried a fixed size for the marquee tool, but even with snap turned on it's hard ...
