| In RAW have you got any of your preferences in the tool tabs set to something that would effect the file? Check the detail and the FX tabs to make sure you are not introducing grain at that point. ... |

| tried a couple of the proof settings, they just changed the brightness of the colors. it also did not alert me to any profile mismatches. |
