Hey, how's everyone? I've been having some troubles with my Genius pen sketch 9x12 tablet . With cs3 and newer versions, my tablet starts acting weird after some time; like if I pressed the shift button. Instead of the normal strokes, I get straight lines while moving my pen. It's weird, i don't know. In cs2 and older versions, it seems to be just fine but I really want to upgrade my current software. Thanks for the help ! |

Welcome to the forum agustinn.
A quick search indicates that a lot of people are also having problems with this make of tablet and various versions of CS. Are you using a Mac?
I can only suggest that you have the latest drivers installed for your tablet and junk the preferences file by holding Ctrl+Alt(Option, Mac)+Shift whilst opening Photoshop (it should ask you whether you want to keep your preferences or not). _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Thanks for your welcoming I actually have Windows Vista; and yeah i did look for some results but didn't find anything (i just hate when people post without first searching!). I tried deleting the preferences file and installed the latest drivers but it's not working. Little weird detail is that when I run the Liquify tool, wether I use it or not, I get the tablet to work again. After some tries, this method isn't useful anymore; it's so odd. Any ideas? |

Sorry for the double posting but I'm kinda desperate over here! Don't you have any ideas of what it could be? |

All out of ideas but I will do a little looking (probably a good idea you bumped it). _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Hi, same problem. FIXED IT.
Desconect tablet. Unistall old drivers. Restart windows.
(with table disconected)
Download latest driver, 5.02 for windows here:
http://www.genius-europe.com/en/produktdetail.php?ID2=55&ID=26&ID3=589
(with table disconected)
Installnew drivers. When it ask for restart accept and restart.
When it has restarted connect tablet. Done
Happy painting. |
