My ps cs5 has been fine until today, now when I go to open any files or even a new file they open, show the file tab at the top and all the layers to the side but all I can see is a grey screen. I've tried zooming and moving but nothing. It scrolls up and down but all I get is the grey screen.
It's the same on all files I open
many thanks in advance for your help, hope you can solve it |

Sounds like an out of memory error. other than that, i've never had that problem before. _________________ twitter @4DragonsMedia |

Try clearing your Clipboard and the age old trash your preferences, Ctrl+Alt+Del (Hold) on start-up of Photoshop.
If that doesn't do the trick, perhaps a screenshot, with your PS settings displayed along with the problem may help. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Ctrl+Alt+Shift while starting will reset Photoshop preferences to factory. Ctrl+Alt+Del can be used to show what's running, CPU etc. (Windows).
You do need to provide more detail - you say that all you see is a grey screen, but then you say that it scrolls up and down. Do you mean that the Photoshop background is grey?
I agree that a screenshot would be great. |
