i made a few sigs before that came out pretty nice. i used the eliptical marque tool to select an image and pasted it onto another image and it would 'fade' it into that image.. i included a picture that i made just for reference so you know what im talking about...
but anyway i cant get it to fade the picture into another one now, it just pastes itself onto it.

you can see how i faded the boost gauge and the picture of the srt into it but it wont let me do that anymore.. do i need to set some options? |

You probably had feathering on your eliptical selection tool. When you have that tool selected look at the tool options bar at the top and try putting a number in for feathering.

You got it. The higher the number the more it fades the selection. Just mess around with the number until you get a fade you like.
Glad I could help!
