I combined several images together on one canvas very simply, side by side like a collage so I can print them, and I saved them as a regular JPEG format.

However, when I take my USB into photo printing services their computers' don't recognise the format and can't display or print them. I've been told by staff that this is a photoshop problem, but when I call up photoshop customer support, they say they can't help me if I have any version lower than CS5. I have CS3.

Can anyone help? thanks :)

Are you certain you are saving as a jpg?

Flatten the layers then make sure when you save it that you select jpg from the dropdown list of file types.

Thanks for the response! :)

I am selecting JPEG from the dropdown options when saving; but it might be flattening the layers like you suggested. Sorry I'm so new at this; but how do you flatten the layers?

Thanks :)

Ignore that last message, I've worked out how to flatten the image on photoshop help. I'm taking them in to print tomorrow so I'll let you know how it goes. :)

Thanks so much!
