I have Vista and have been running CS on it for a year with no problem. During that time, I had Office 2007. I just upgraded to Office 2010. Since then, I cannot get CS to run! It tries to open but sits on the initial blank screen and displays (not responding). I uninstalled it, rebooted my PC, then reinstalled it, and it still isn't responding.

Does anyone know what would be causing this? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Kbrick,
Even though you've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, it's still worth resetting the preferences. To do that, make sure Photoshop is closed, then open it up and immediately hold down CTRL ALT SHIFT. You should then get an option to delete the settings file, which you'll want to choose 'yes' to.

This tactic does tned to cure a lot of these problems, especially in Vista.

Hope that helps
