Can someone tell me how this effect is created? A tutorial would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

rectangle tool... the one with soft edges, feather like 5 or 10

make it (white)

blending options:

add stroke, inside, or center.. 2-3 px.. white

add innerglow.. 75%.. size 1-2-3.. color (#555555) or something gray

add drop shadow..

Thanks for the quick response!

I was asking more how the top and bottom pieces are made, how they fade out completely?

Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Kerry

oooh

try using the pen tool

with the same blending options

click on the pen tool, click 4 times, for what you want it to be... curve it if u want

then click on the brush, make it 4-7 px, color white.. or black...or blue (whatever)

click on pen again

right click on the image and do stroke path.. pick brush.. and check the box i think

try that ^^^^^
