I'm pretty sure I've asked this bafore, but the search results don't seem to show it. So I'll ask again.
Let's say I have two canvases the same size. Can I drag a leyer from one canvas to the other and have it apear in the same place? Or would it do that if I copied and pasted?
thanks for any replies. _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |

Use the move tool to drag layers from one canvas to another. I believe that holding shift while dragging will center it, and holding ctrl will put it in the same spot. Dragging saves on the temp memory that photoshop uses, as compared to cutting and pasting. _________________ All gave some, some gave all.....Lest we forget that war produces veterans, wounded both mentally and physically, and it is our job to help them now, as they have already helped us all in ways we will never know, and in ways that we take for granted every day. |

okay, thanks guys. I knew about shift and copy/drag/memusga, I'd just lost that little tidbit of info about moving to same spot. _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |
