I dunno it all depends on the look you are going for. But the plugin will not be able to generate 'realistic' water. It will have tint and transparency, people will know it is 'water' but they will also know that it is not water. The other option is to search for a good stock photo and use an actual photo of a stream and incorporate it into your image.
