OK. Well here's my list:

1. DON'T USE TIMES NEW ROMAN AS YOUR MAIN FONT!

2. The picture of the school is terrible quality.

3. I can barely read events, e-board and meetings.

4. Avoid image maps like the plague.

5. The space like frames don't seem to fit the design of a school web site.

6. There is a TON of negative black space.

7. Your font for Stuco and Quick Links looks very...basic.

8. DON'T USE TIMES NEW ROMAN AS YOUR MAIN FONT!

9. The Champagne glass looks very out of place.

10. If your school colors aren't orangeish-brown, then you shouldn't use orangeish-brown.

11. I would suggest using images for bullets instead of this: >>

12. Your main banner is a tad bit too wide for an 800x600 resolution. The max you should go is 770, and that's pushing it. I usually stay at 750.

13. DON'T USE TIMES NEW ROMAN AS YOUR MAIN FONT!

14. What happens if you have an article on your page that wants to spread taller than the allowed area for those frames?

On a good note your html and css validates nicely and it looks good in Mozilla. You may want to check it in IE though... Your site definitely looks a bit better than some of the stuff I started out with. Keep at it!!! My comments are merely suggestive criticism, so don't let them bum you out.

okay...most of that stuff is an easy fix :), my school colors are orange + black. Um i'm not really sure what to do about the negative black space, I noticed that too but I havent been able to come up with anything. As for the picture of the school...well Idont have a digital camera and was limited to what was already there, what do you siggest i use fo links, perhaps buttons then instead of the image map? As for the fonts, well they were meant to be fancy but I could change them.

very nice layout, very nice sharp lines...one comment...there's to much space between the headers, and where the information goes

for example:
---7:59 PM 5/27/2005 - Index Page Nearly Complete---
and
---Today the Index page is about 90% complete. All that needs to be added are some technical things...---

I would suggest going with a three column design to fill the space, or do two columns and keep the excess space to the left and right. If you really want to do your links like that on top of the banner, then you should cut up the banner and put it in a table.

If you don't have a camera, then I would suggest finding someone who does. A photo with quality that poor is simply unacceptable for a banner image, or any image for that matter. Maybe you could do a cool collage of pictures instead.

The random shaped frame for the body text is not really conventional or economical in page weight. But Bryan's suggestions for modifications would be a great start :)
