I am totally new to the Photoshop process. Can someone who knows what they're doing please look at this photo and tell me if there is a way to fix the shadow on the bride's hair. I have no idea what to do with it. I have Photoshop Elements 5.0. The photo is here:

Many thanks!

It can be fixed. I'm not sure how to do it in Photoshop Elements though...

I can take a whack at it after this weekend if you'd like. Maybe someone else here could give it a try a bit sooner than that (if they feel so inclined).

Gorgeous photo by the way. Did you take it?

THANK YOU SO MUCH for responding! I would love to see what you can do with it. I didn't take the photo. It is of my daughter and her husband taken by our photographer in San Diego. (He has given us all rights to the photos, many of which were absolutely stunning). This one is her favorite.

Ohmygosh! That looks amazing! Do you do this for a living? Or are you Harry Potter?

Can you just tell me briefly what software you used and how you did it?

Thank you so much!!
