|
|
Hi,
Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section but I'm not sure of the name of what I am trying to achieve.
I will try to explain this as best as I can.
I have two layers on top of each other and am trying to reveal part of the layer that is underneath. I don't want to re-size it as that wouldn't achieve the desired effect. Is it possible to make a straight selection and remove part of the top layer to reveal part of the layer underneath?
One more thing, when I create a vector shape is there a keyboard shortcut to rasterize the shape without having to click the tick at the top of the window?
Thanks in advance |

Welcome to the forum. Layer masks are your answer. There's more than enough info out there already, now that you know the term _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
