Hey, all. This is my first post and I'm not sure if I'm in the right area. The forum labels are nice and vague. Anyway, I'm still learning CS5, but I know one thing I want to do. I want to know how to strengthen shadows. It's easy to find tutorials to help eliminate shadows, but I want to do the opposite of that. I want to increase the shadows on an object or person. I want to be able to give things more shading, not less. Any ideas? Know any good tutorials for that?

Thanks, everyone. (^_^)

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully no grey areas after reading up on Dodge and Burn

As for a direct tutorial, there are a million and one out there. I use 2 curve adjustment layers and paint with opacity 100%/Flow 1%, You could also use a 50% grey layer set to soft light and paint in white and black.
