Hey, all. This is my first post and I'm not sure if I'm in the right area. The forum labels are nice and vague. Anyway, I'm still learning CS5, but I know one thing I want to do. I want to know how to strengthen shadows. It's easy to find tutorials to help eliminate shadows, but I want to do the opposite of that. I want to increase the shadows on an object or person. I want to be able to give things more shading, not less. Any ideas? Know any good tutorials for that?

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully no grey areas after reading up on Dodge and Burn
As for a direct tutorial, there are a million and one out there. I use 2 curve adjustment layers and paint with opacity 100%/Flow 1%, You could also use a 50% grey layer set to soft light and paint in white and black. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade!
