I have a feeling I am dealing with a preset problem. One day my dodge and burn tool stopped working. They just don't highlight or darken. I have already compressed my files, degfragmented, purged, etc. It seems to be something with the tool set up. Also, my healing brush stopped too. |

Have you tried to reset your Photoshop preferences? Holding Ctrl+Alt+Shift Whilst Opening Photoshop or a relevant PSD, should bring up a dialogue box, asking if you want to reset preferences.
If that doesn't work, come back and we'll go into more detail.

I did this and now none of the tools work. I can crop and lasso, but i have no healing brush, paintbrush, or clone. Now it seems I've lost everything. |
