Hello everyone!

My question is rather simple, though, the solution isn't... for me at least.

Is there a way I can assign the brush opacity to my Intuos4 tablet scroll wheel so I can increase or decrease the opacity of my brush?

It would save me lots of time doing so and I think speed is pretty important while drawing.

For Intuos 3 you can,,,Set the function for the scroll wheel to keystroke. The set the bracket keys, one for up the other down. Name and save the function.

So you say there is no possible way to set this for the Intuos 4 tablet?

That's awkward, I thought intuos4 should be an improved version, not missing some (extra) settings :O

I mean the opacity (not hardness, not the size of the brush).
The only shortcuts the opacity has is: 1 = 10%, 2 = 20% etc.

I wondered how I can apply that to the scroll wheel if it is static and not really dynamic like brush size. (with its [ and ] hotkeys to make it larger or smaller).

I'm not saying you can't with Intuos4. I would think if you use the procedure I outlined for Intuos3 you could do it with Intuos4 also to control brush size. However, I don't think there is a shortcut for brush opacity.
