Hi:
Just wondering if anyone can tell me how to write a message in the sand. I found something on line with photoshop buddy but when I try to copy the text to a new layer the text disappears which is the second step out of 10 or so.....help |

Can you link us to the tutorial that you're using? Make sure that your layers are properly labeled and layered (ei text layer above background layer). |

When you hit ctrl+j to make a copy of the mask on a new layer then it duplicates the pixels underneath into a new layer. This may seem like it disappears however if you hide the background layer you should be able to see the cut out text. |
