I have 2 hobbies that go hand in hand.
The first is travel. I love going new places and to different countries.
I love learning about the culture and trying exotic foods.
The second is I collect copies of my favorite book (The Hobbit) in different languages.
Every time I go on a trip to a different country I head to the book store and buy a the book in that language.
So far I have: Spanish (I have 2, one from Mexico and one from Madrid), French, German, Italian and Japanese. |

Well, since you ask, downtime could mean anything that is of interest.
Reading, running, and weight lifting (to preserve muscle tone). Also enjoy pure contemplation (some might recognized it as meditation, but what I mostly use it for is contemplation). |

If and when I do have spare time, I really like to carve wood and make 3 dimensional pictures. I only wish I had more time to devote to it. At least I am lucky that I also love computers and spend a good deal of time with them.

I collect guitars........not your cheap Chinese models, but affordable decent models. I have 19, and some are even autographed by musicians who play the same type models! I have a Joe Strummer - Telecaster, Mick Jones - Les Paul Junior, Bernie Torme - Fender Stratocaster, Glen Matlock - Precision Bass.
I am new to photography after purchasing a canon 450 kit, and my new hobby will be urban exploring which scares and excites at the same time! |
