Ok, so iam trying to make a button for my website.
I try to move the text to the center but it will either go to the TOP or the BOTTOM of the image iam creating, why does photoshop do this?
Why does it automaticaly move text like that? Anyway around this? Can you shut that off in settings or somethign.

It sounds to me like you are making a small button and you have have snap to grid enabled. disable snap its listed under the view menu.
