I just installed CS5 and am having some trouble identifying and pegging down certain settings that I have had active in CS4...

I would like to constrain the photo window to remain within the tool boxes. So when I increase the size of the image the window the editable portion does not sneak behind my layers panel, etc. Does that make sense?

Also, I make large, but precise selections... I use the loop tool and typically I can make my selection in a small portion and use scrolling to move the image to the next portion. I don't know how clear all that was... I'm sure if it had a clear solution I'd have already found it Confused 2 Sorry for the lamely-detailed questions.

I'm on a Mac.
