This is in regard to a friends system. It was custom built and he's using a really old AGP card until he has $ to put into a decent one. The rest of the machine is top notch, including a gig of RAM. The problem is that when he creates an image that is 100 pixels/inch or more, many of the filters in the menu become greyed out.

Ok. He's informed me that the problem is only with 16 bit images. I've never done anything in 16 bit mode. Everything works fine for him in 8 bit. Problem solved.

The filters always go grey in 16 bit
