Any ideas as to why when adding any adjustment layer, it automatically clip? I am not holding any other buttons or clicking anywhere I shouldn't. I know how to make an adjustment clipping just fine and I know how to remove one. Photoshop is just creating the clip without me directing it to. Since re-installing CS4 on an upgraded computer, it has been doing it ever since-completely crippling my entire work-flow. ANY ideas?

I'm using CS4 on a Mac OSX 10.6.4
2x2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Memory: 12GB 1066 MHz DDR3

Thanks ! !

If you hold down Alt between your clipped layers it should offer you the chance to unclip. I am unsure as to what you are doing to get them clipping in the first place.
