I recently reformatted my computer. When I installed my printer and photoshop 6.0 again my art work wasn't printing out the same. It was slightly faded and had less yellow. It also looks this way on the screen (slightly faded) A new printer was sent to me , so that wasn't the problem, and we even got a new computer. So the only thing left, I think, is that there was some setting in photoshop that I lost when I reformatted. I already know that color management was off in the color settings before reformatting and after. Is there another setting I am missing?

It also creates a profile that color managed apps (like Photoshop) use when displaying images on your machine.

The problem isn't that it just doesn't match what is on the screen, it is also not printing out like it used to. I am printing out the same file that I have been for months, and now after reformatting, it looks different.

Maybe your profile was bad before? Have you re-run Adobe Gamma since reformatting? What are your color settings now? Have they changed from before?

I did run gama. Before, I did not do any color management stuff. I didn't know anything about it si I guess I just had the default settings. When printing now I've been experamenting with different color space options in the print dialog box.
