First of all, the differences don't make it so you have to work differently--they just add more options. All that was really changed was the way layer linking worked. But the BIG addition was the ability to select multiple layers at once, which often makes layer linking superfluous. This multiple-layer-selection option is a HUGE benefit of using CS2, and I use it frequently. What is there to dislike? I admit, the new linking system is a little less convenient. But doesn't multiple layer selection outweigh this minor setback by far?[/quote]
No Personaly I don't see any reason to change it, they could still have added the selection of multiple layers and left the linking alone, for me it's the old "if it ain't broke don't fix it" it worked fine for years. I'm not the only one who doesn't like it, I know a few other who don't and I have seen a lot of negative comments on the net about it. For me it's the slow running and freezing issues are a far bigger worry, this is the only version of PS that I have ever had any problems with. I really hope they get it sorted out by the next version. Wayne |
