Okay. I'm doing pretty well, considering I've only been using PhotoShop for about a month. I've designed a site, worked through a lot of trial and error, and have one last problem that I canNOT find a solution for anywhere, though it's got to be fairly simple:

When I make a text layer/slice/thing, I have to specify the size of it. If I add or delete text, or if I'm looking at the site on a different browser that uses a different font or size, the slice below the text (my footer image) is either WAY below the text, or sitting right in the middle of it.

I want the footer image to float under the text slice, no matter how much (or little) text there is. How do I do this? Please! And thank you very, very, very much for your help.

Thanks very much, rose, that's a great site (anyone having trouble with that link - it's cssT). A lot of good information, well-written. But that allows images to float to the left or right, and I'm trying to get the image to hang at the bottom of the live text, rather than in a set position defined by the noimage slice size.

I've done a million searches, it feels like. The only information I can find is that I might be able to do this if I take my finished, optimized imageready page and put it through dreamweaver, which I don't have.

Is this the only way? It seems like such a simple thing! But I can't figure any way to get imageready to put that image anywhere but a position defined by a certain dimension.

Very frustrating.

Thanks again for your help, Rose. I really do appreciate it!
