|
|
I'm a newbie who is learning how to use Adobe Photoshop CS2. Can anyone please teach me how to draw a simple fish shape that is consist of an oval with 2 pointed ends (the body), and a triangle (tail)? What kind of tools (eg. line or ellipse tools) should I use? Do I need to set the transformation path? Please help me. Thanks

I would use the eliptical marquee tool to draw a series of oval shapes, then juse erase the bits I dont need. I just stroked (edit/stroke) to give the lines. Wayne

i would use the ellipse marquee to make a body, then a circle for the tail, and then another selection to curve the back of the tail, exactly the same way wayne did. i'd just do selections on a new layer, then put the layer's fill to 0% and stroke it.

The fish body can be done using an oval shape, but I want my fish body to have a sharp point at the front, and a sharp point at the end to connect the tail. How do I do that?
I know that I can select fish from the custom shapes, but I'm looking for the shape that consist of an oval body (with 2 pointed ends), and a triangular tail.
