|
|
Hello,
Thank you for visiting PhotoshopForums.com.
On March 3, PhotoshopForums.com will celebrate 10 years online. I've been thinking about how we could celebrate this (ideas welcome) and there is one big thing that I came up with.
I'd like to ask you to put into graphic form what PhotoshopForums.com means to you or what the community stands for in your eyes. This is your visual interpretation of the community. It could be anything (within our User Guidelines, of course). Besides that, I don't want to put any limitations on it.
It could feature parts of our website, it could be a drawn illustration, text, various snippets, whatever you want. It's really about you and your illustrated representation of what the site means to you. There is no right or wrong answer. One person may view this community in a totally different way from another and that is what makes it awesome. It doesn't matter what your proficiency level is with Photoshop.
I wanted to announce this today in order to give an appropriate amount of time to anyone who wanted to participate. If you have any interest, I'd love for you to submit an entry or multiple entries.
Here are the instructions for submitting an entry:
1. Please submit a post using the form at http://www.photoshopforums.com/posting.php?mode=newtopic&f=20.
2. In your post, please include a link to where your design can be downloaded or simply indicate it has been emailed and then email it to me at patrick@ifroggy.com. However you submit it, it will be uploaded to our servers.
3. Once you submit the post, you will receive an error, "the topic you requested does not exist." Please take this as confirmation that your entry has been submitted. I will follow up with you once I have seen it, as well..
Please submit it as soon as it is ready - having it in advance will help me to create a publishing schedule of entries throughout the day on March 3. For this reason, please don't post the entries publicly, so that we can have a big unveiling on March 3.
Thank you for reading and for supporting this community.
Sincerely,

Submitted my embarrassing effort, I couldn't submit retouching and apparently my PS skills don't stretch too far, however the sentiment is there _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
