Anyone know what this means?

"Warning: No pixels are more than 50% selected. The selecttion edges will not be visible."

This happened when I was trying select the layers transparency to tilt the layer. Anyways, the layer is simply a black hairline. The funny thing is that I was able to do this before with the original copy of this layer...

Any help is very thankful.

You usually see that message when you have too high of a feather on the selection tool.

When you see a marching-ants selection outline, what you're looking at is the boundary between areas that are more than 50% selected and areas that are less than 50% selected. If the selection has a hard edge, this outline appears to conform to those edges.

But let's say you have a selection in which no pixel is more than 50% selected. There is no boundary between the greater-than-50% and less-than-50% areas because there is no greater-than-50% area. Therefore, Photoshop shows no marching ants, even though an area is still selected. So Photoshop shows you this message just to let you know that there is a selection in effect, but you can't see its boundaries.

Because it's so difficult to move those fingers up and down, striking those unforgiving keys... Brow

Just kidding, just kidding. I totally know that feeling.
