Very nice! Did you do that all by hand? You must have a graphics tablet. Great job, in any case. Keep up the good work.

yeah its all free hand. yeah i did it on the wacom cintiq 21UX (side note, its the best thing i have ever bought. its amazing!)

I think you maybe could use the red a bit better. The pic seems a bit chaotic. One thing you want to think about when doing a paintintg/drawing of any kind is how the viewer's eye moves over it. In this case, the red really stands out, and as such could easily be used to create flow the compostion. Just think about what shape you want to emhsize and what part of the image you want people to look at, and piut the red there.
You never really want to have something important in the center of your composition, it makes it seem uncofortable. Your red is right in there. I'd move it to emphasize one of the waves.
make any sense? It's If it's explained well it makes sense and can really help a composition, but unfortunately I can't explain it well.
