I have a picture that has a red cast to it, I have tried different things that normally seem to work, however it is not working.

If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Joseph

Although, in retrospect this might be the wrong place for this post.

Hey, cute pic.

If you go 'Image > Adjust > Levels' and select the individual colour channels you will find large gaps of space on the graph.

Move the black and white arrows beneath the graph to match the graph area and this will reduce the redness of the image greatly.

Also you can add a photo filter to the end product of the changed levels, the third cooling filter worked well.

Below is one for you in case you have troubles.
(It has had some extra stuff on top of what i have explained)

Good luck.

That's about all I was able to get out it too. It still has a poor coloration after adjusting, but I think that's about all you can do with that image unless you want to get creative and start painting.

This is what I did:

Image>Adjustments>Auto Color
Auto Tone
Hue Saturation saturation reduced to -34

Not an easy one this at least writing a short tutorial isn't to give you an idea I used to a lesser or greater extent in no particular order and probably missed a few:

Hue/Saturation, Brightness/Contrast, Curves, Levels, Colour Balance, Exposure, New Layers, Multiply, Replace Colour, Shadows/Highlights etc...

A better original higher res pic would make things easier and obviously render a better result!
