|
|
Hello...
I have a powerbook running OSX and do mostly graphics work in Photoshop.
I would like to attempt to print my work on a dot matrix printer as I like the degredation of the image. I'd rather not use a similar filter or effect if one exists as it's important to me to have the dot matrix hardcopies.
I have done a bit of searching and realise dot matrix printers with USB connection and drivers to enable them to work on most modern OS' are still being made/available.
But I would like to know if it is at all possible to simply print an image from photoshop straight to a dot matrix printer?
Many thanks! |

I don't see why not if you have the printer set up on OSX. You'd need to find a dot matrix printer that's Mac compatible. Wouldn't it just recognize as a printer? I don't get why you'd think it wouldn't work. Have you read/heard anything that suggests you may not be able to print directly from PhotoShop. _________________ Best Regards,

i beleive "file" - "print" - "printer" - "edit printer list" "+add button"... it should already be their in the printer section, i assume it should work, however sometimes things just are weird _________________ http://i337m1k3.deviantart.com for my ART Profile. |

I had hoped it would be that simple. Epson drivers are pretty easy to find on the net so I should be fine.
Probably an obvious question but thiught I'd check anyway!
Many thanks,
