Well I'd say if you do just fine without them then no don't bother,
But Plug ins are very different then Actions & brushes
These can be very useful.
Personally I have installed Kai's Power tools 5 & 6 and some little
colorizer one installed for plug ins. I use these mostly for quick effects that I don't want to labour over for any great lenngths.
For brushes & Actions I have numerous.
Its all pretty much personal prefernce, some people hide behind
them, but i find that they can be of some use, depending on the situation. |

I use mostly eyecandy 4000, a boon for glass and metal,
superblade pro and primus are fun to mess with, but I rarely use them seriously.
KPT plugins , 5 6 X and effects, blinding, use them a lot _________________ "Bugger destiny" said Nanny Ogg " lets go out and curse someone!!"

Go to Adobe.com and click on studio exchange, then photoshop stuff. At times, I click on the author's sites where they also have other actions/brushes available on their site, as well as links to others similar sites. I surfed through like that for some hours just the other day, came away with tons of brushes, actions, styles and fonts. Nothing beats free! |

Can anyone tell me what the difference between eyecandy 4000 and eyecandy 5 is please. I have just got eyecandy 5 and would like to know what the difference is.
And also what is Kai's Power tools 5 & 6? What are they like compared to Eyecandy?

Eye Candy 5: Textures is a plug-in collection of 10 texture generators. The first of three upgrades to Eye Candy 4000, Textures produces a wide variety of photorealistic textures, such as snake and lizard skin, fur, brick, stone and wood. |
