I found a tutorial that i am a little lost on. it says to alter the
reflection of the image, i am suppose to use the selection tool to
cut and paste another area onto the orginal reflection and use a hard
round brush to create a new one. I am trying to make an eyeball
reflect and shine. if anyone could help me out it would be greatly
appreciated. thanks.

What part of the tutorial are you not understanding? Can you post a link to it and tell us what you don't understand?
