Hi all,
Please be patient with me, here it goes.

I use Illustrartor CS2, as the text type i use is adobe std L. This is not found is Photoshop CS2. (Is their a way to tranfer the text type over??) Anyway I enusre that the photoshop page is the same size as illustrator. When i place my text from illustrator into photoshop i then use the scale tool and place it were i would like the text to go. Press enter and the text is placed.
Now here is the problem, the text looks weak, slightly blurred and jagged, I have tried the characters and sharp, crisp, none etc, but nothing wotks,
So how do i get the text to look sharp and crisp on my web page when the text is in photoshop??

P.S. I thought, Photoshop could use vector text from illustartor?? if so what is happening with the jagged edges???

Thankyou in advanced Josel

One problem is the illustrater is a vector based program, and photoshop is raster based, to put it simply, illustrater uses lines and photoshop uses dots (thats over simply put but you get the idea)

When you convert your nice smooth text to photoshop it turns it into pikles, heres where the steps come from(called jaggies in the trade) how bad it is depends on the resolution, the higher that is the smoother the text "should" look Check if anti aliasing is on, that helps sometimes.

If you have photoshop CS2 then copy your text in illustrator then paste it into photoshop, you will get a popup window. Click Paste As: Smart Object and it will retain the vector properties. To edit it you can double click the layer and it will open back up in Illustrator.
