square image into a shape? and digital art major/job.

day good all,
got a question in photoshop cs, I have a square image that I want to put into a shape, a circle to be exact. both the image and the shape are on separate layers. Anyone know to put a square image into a circle?

Also can anyone give me any suggestions on majors for someone who is looking into getting digial media/art? or possible jobs that are in the the digital art field?

Not quite sure what you're trying to do, but you might want to try the blending modes.

As to career options, there are plenty. Joining your high school and college newspaper will give you the opportunity to build up a collection of 'published' artwork that is applicable to the commercial industry. Other than that, depends on your college. If you don't have scholarships that cover your university tuition, go for a community college.
