i am working on CS and i use color fill layers with mask quite often and i noticed recently that if i use the ''delete hidden layers'' command or modify the color of the layer, sometimes a channel will appear in the channel palate. i know this has not happened in the past b/c i check for channels when saving tiff's.
there seems to be no rhyme or reason to this. in fact, i was working on a document yesterday and deleted hidden layers 3 times without a channel apprearing, but on the fourth time it did.
has anyone experienced this "problem" or have any ideas on what might be going on?
thanks

Hmm, sounds like you've left a selection behind - didn't see it because you hid the "marching ants" perhaps and then forgot about it?
