My screen is full of Photoshop files, they total over 180. When the problem happened my desktop screen saver was changing pics every 5 seconds, at the time of the problem I would get lots of little flashes within the changing of the pics. I turned off the system using the off button and now have blue background! I can turn on different software from the ports but, cannot open the top row from the apple to help, neither can I take hold of any of the photo-shop files or trash them.
What I did to create this nightmare was! I went to my hard drive opened users, library. Application support, Adobe, file browser then photoshop cs, I then tried to empty CS only the files did not look like they were being dragged so I stopped and went back to try and grab them again! Only, they started to download to my desktop. At this point I can no longer use my system. Any idea’s would be much appreciated.
Thanks GAry |

Will it boot up in safe mode? then you could remove the files (or delete them) Wayne |

Thanks for the response Wayne! Ater initially running through disc utility and letting Techtool run wild, I left the system on for an hour! I thought the flickering would run it's course, to no avail. I opened photoshop and found that I could work the apple in an open app. I then was able to restart the system, still nothing'
After about an hour and a half I realised that my hard drive icon was no longer covered by all those files and was able to get back to file browser, with an empty photoshop cs. I then found i could click on the files, redragged them to photoshop cs (copied).
Do you know that an assortment of 180 thumbs etc recorded as 3.2 giggs.
Wayne, is there a reason you know of that this suff has any use, I can't open the bloody things.

3.3gb, WOW thats probably why it crashed, what file format are they now?, try changing the name of one to.jpeg (or whatever format their supposed to be) and see if that helps. Wayne |
