So whenever I try to layer a picture on another there is always some transparent parts left over. So lets say I have picture A and picture B. I want to put picture B on top of picture A. But I only want a certain part of picture B to be shown, so I make a layer and remove the stuff I don't want. However the stuff I don't want is always still there, just transparent... Is there anyway to fix this, I used to not have this problem. I'm using CS4

How are you removing the stuff? What tools are you using?
If your using masks check that the black is not slightly grey.
