I am trying to make a "Web Photo Gallery" in Adobe Photoshop CS. I've selected 50 photos that are ready to be assembled, and everything seems to work except for one important hitch: I'd like to enter descriptions, location info, notes, copyright info, etc. That is, I can enter this information in Adobe Photoshop under File --> File Info --> Description. After entering this information I save the JPG and then make the Web Photo Gallery by selecting the source folder. The web page is made correctly except for the missing descriptions.
I have activated the preserve all metadata checkbox in the >web photogallery window and gone through all of the menu options in the bottom half of the create gallery window.
In the File > Browse > Metadata section there is IPTC information -- that is the information that I need to edit in order to make this fly, yes? I seem to edit it successfully, my descriptions are there, but the Web Galleries are still blank, even though "Preserve all metadata" is ticked on in the Web Gallery menu window. Perhaps there are other preferences that need to be checked? |
