Hello, I am running photoshop CS5 on a mac. When I try to use any of the select tools Marqee or Lasso it just doesn't work, when I try and drag it nothing happens. When I select the tool the cursor is replaced with a normal cursor but with a small notepad symbol in the bottom left corner.
It seems to be intermittent, I tried restarting my computer and it worked for only a short time and then the issue arose again.
I have exams that require my use of photoshop so I need an answer as quick as you possibly can, feel free to ask any questions and thankyou in advance. |

That isn't working.
The actual problem is probably a setting I have or something I have accidently clicked.
When I press the marquee tool the cursor changes to a standard one with a small little box on the right that looks a bit like a piece of note paper. |

Not sure about that one it might be a mac cursor.
Nothing in my version has a notepad looking box next to it.
Someone else here should know the cursor of which you speak about.
Anyone? |
