Hi, I am working on a project right now and am trying to select between red and pink...on a graded level, which makes it harder. I am using the select tool and select similar in order to do so...I was wondering if their was a way to limit the particle size (object total pixzel area) that photshop considers when selecting similar things.

For example, like I stated above, I am selecting for red objects against pink objects...and the red objects are round, so is there a way to limit selection to objects red and have a objective radius of a few pixels?

ps- Any help is appreciated..and I am hoping to upload a example of what I am working with tonight. I am on a different computer without my files. Thanks again. Mike

This is a breakdown of what I am working with. I have a high resolution image of brain tissue. The resolution is able to capture actualy individual red blood cells (little circles) on the image, but the background is pink to to another body of tissue and so selecting for just the Red Blood Cells is pretty hairy becuase I'm selecting against Red and Pink. Is there anyway that I can use the select similar function with a restriction to circular objects (red blood cells).

Is this the wrong approach?
