Does anyone know how to make a screenshot of a movie scene?

It would depend on the software you are using, some has built in screen grabbers, I'm assuming your refering to home movies as taking stills off feature films would be breach of copyright. Wayne

press the "print screen" button (usually on the top row of your keyboard). Then open a Word Document. On the blank page, press Ctrl and V

it doesn't work the screen where the movie is goes black
If you have nero showtime you can cupture a frame

That's because the movie is played by the graphic card in a seperate layer in explorer, so you won't catch the current frame with print screen. However, there's an easy solution to the problem. In the preferences, go find "Accelerated Video Output" and turn it off. If I'm not wrong, some players also call it "Overlay Mode". All you have to do now is to go wild with your Print Scrn button.
