hi paul,
not a bad composition,and everyone has a opinion...lol ...and here mine....
1/ on the left side of him.. where the shadows are there appears to be nice halo... that shouldn't be there....
2. several of the object edges seems to be too sharp... which makes it look pasted.... what i do many times is apply a little bluring on the edges..
3. shadows, seems like there at wrong angles...
the crown shadow appears to go up where as the body shadow goes down a little , and the coat and nail shadow at different angle and i thought those two would be the same..
4. now the darts... appears to me to be pasted... to be more natural you might want to use the perspective tool ....
5. and depending on the direction of the light... you might put a little D&B on his shirt.... you got a lot of shadows and i would sort of expect, because of the light direction, part of the shirt to be a litttle brighter than other parts..

Paulr, my main concern is that the imag is a bit too crowded, there are too many things fighting to get the viwers attention
