Lets say i want to resize something to 5x7 how do i do it ? i usally go to image resize but the problem i get is that i get like 5.679 or something when i change one the other one changes any ideas?

Maybe your original is not a 5:7 aspect ratio. Choose the crop tool and set its option bar to 5in by 7in.

Open up thje image, go to edit > Image Size, uncheck constrain proportions (will stop width auto-resizing itself when you re-size height an vice-versa) and change the height and width proportions to 5 x 7 and the type from px to inches
