Hello.
I am very new to photoshop and design in general ( learning slower then snail moves )

I have few brushes that are installed in photoshop ( floral ). after applying brush to a layer , i like to know how i can change colors ( colorize ) and how i can adjust brush size after is being added to a layer ..

been looking all over for some answer , so i decided to join here and may be someone can shed some light ..

Thanks.

Hi Tony_sar,

All you have to do to resize your brush is click on your brush tool then on top there should be a bar with the brush icon all the way to your left. Right next to it there is name called "brush:" click on the arrow thats pointing downwards then there should be a window that will pop up. Then play around with "Master Diameter" until you get the right size you want. As for the color i'm not to sure what you mean. Explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reply.
regarding color. before applying a brush i can select a color .. but that would only apply single color to brush .. now i have few flower brushes .. i need to change colors in different part of that brush to give it more realistic look rather then single color .

Regarding the size. what you suggested i think only applies to brush before being applied to a layer . once the bush is applied , let say at 600 px to a layer . how can i change the size to 300 px .. , . i hope im making sense .. as is hard to tell exactly what i need , as phoptoshop is new to me and im not comfortable with wordings and commands name , etc. Brow

For the size, just go to edit then free transform and scale it until your happy with the size then double click in the image to make it final. MAKE SURE YOUR ON THE LAYER YOU WANT TO MAKE SMALLER. As for the color the only I could see that possible is if you use the quick selection tool and select whatever you want to recolor then go to LAYER, new layer fill, then solid for a solid color lol or Gradient. Then go to your layer palette then there should be a name called color fill or whatever you named it and double click it to change the color.
